Rental Conditions
Holiday rental period from …../…../….. from 16 h 00 to …../…../…. 10 h 00 (for any change, please ask us).
For a total amount of ……………… euros.
The rental rate includes water. Eight solar pannels produce electricity, but in case of superior electricity consumption, it will be charged Euro 0.30 per kw (day) and Euro 0,25 (night), according to effective consumption.
A security-deposit amounting to 300 Euros will be required on arrival as well as balance payment.
The security-deposit will be reimbursed after renter’s departure, after deduction of possible damage or cost of repair.
The renter can ask the owner to do the cleaning for 35 euros. If not asked, and if the house is not clean, 50 euros will be taken from the security-deposit.
Miscellaneous :
Pets are not allowed
The holiday house must be tidied up by renters before departure (optional cleaning service on request for 30 euros, if the decision is taken at least at the arrival of the renters, or before).
Beds are provided with quilts and pillows : Bedlinen is not included. Kitchen linen and towels are not provided. Bedlinen may be provided and beds may be made on arrival, as an option, on renter’s request. Charge is 15 euros per bed.
Conditions
This rental agreement will be effective upon receipt at the owner’s address of :
- One copie of this agreement duly dated and signed and bearing the hand-written ‘‘read and agreed’’ mention
- Down-payment of Euro (25% of the rental amount) to be paid by post or bank cheque or bank transfer.
Non-French residents
In case of payment by cheque, bank fees due for paying-in of foreign banks cheques shall have to be paid by the cheque issuer and will amount to 30 euros per cheque. In case of payment of the whole rental amount on arrival (cash), the down-payment cheque shall be handed back to issuer.
This agreement has been made in duplicate. I read the general conditions and the description of the rental house which were printed at the same time as this agreement.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
Article 1 Agreement Conclusion
The booking becomes effective upon reception by owner of the 25 % down-payment of total rent amount and both copies of rental agreement before the due date agreed with you (by mail or on the phone). A copy of agreement duly signed by owner shall be sent back to you as confirmation of your booking. The rental subject of this agreement shall in no case be used, even on a part basis, by a third person, natural or legal, except with the prior written consent of owner. Any infringement of this paragraph would lead to immediate termination of rental with blame on the renter , the rental product would then definitely remain acquired by owner.
Article 2 - Insurance :
The renter is responsible for any damage occurring on his action. He shall take out insurance for holiday rentals in order to cover all these various risks.
Article 3 - Rental duration
The renter signatory of this agreement entered with for a defined duration shall in no case exercise any right to be maintained in the rented house on termination of his renting period.
Article 4 - Cancellation by renter
Any cancellation must be stated by registered mail or telegramme to owner.

The owner shall be entitled to require balance payment of rental should the cancellation occur within 30 days of date of arrival. Should the renter not show up within 24 hours following arrival date stated on agreement, this agreement shall become null and void and the owner may dispose of his holiday house. Down-payment also shall remain acquired to owner who shall ask for balance payment of rent. The renter has to, if he wants to have one, contract a cancellation insurance with Amivac for example, or with his own insurance.
b) Should the stay be shortened, the rent amount shall remain acquired to owner. No reimbursement shall be made.
Article 5 - Cancellation by owner
The owner shall refund the whole of the paid in amounts.
Article 6 - Arrival
The renter shall show up precisely on day and time stated on agreement. In case of late or defered arrival, the renter shall have to inform owner.
Article 7 - Settlement of balance payment.
The balance payment shall be made on arrival or within a month of arrival date in case of a bank transfer.
Article 8 - Inventory of fixtures
Inventory of fixtures shall be jointly carried out and signed both by renter and owner or his representative, on arrival and on departure. This inventory of fixtures is the only reference in case of litigation regarding inventory of fixtures. Cleaning of premises shall be borne by renter during the rental period and before departure. The owner may be asked to have the premises cleaned which will come as an extra charge for renter.
Article 9 - Security-deposit
On arrival, the renter shall be asked by owner to leave a security-deposit the amount of which is stated in this agreement. On completion of the departure counter inventory of fixtures, the security-deposit shall be given back to renter, after deduction of repair cost in case of recognition of damage. In case of advanced departure (prior to time stated in this agreement) preventing the inventory of fixtures from taking place on the renter’s departure day, the security-deposit will be sent back to renter no later than within a week.
Article 10 - Use of the rented house
The renter shall have to enjoy the rented house in a peaceful way and in accordance with its purpose.
The renter is not permitted to smoke in the house, ashtrays can be found under the covered yard.
Article 11 - Capacity
This agreement has been made for a maximum capacity set out in this agreement (i.e. 4 persons). Should the number of renters exceed the number stated as well as capacity, the owner may have the right to forbid access to other persons. Any alteration or termination of this agreement shall be considered on the client’s initiative.
Article 12 - Pets
This agreement specifies that the renter will not be able to stay in rented house with pets. Should this clause be not complied with, the owner may have the right to cancel the stay. In this case no refund shall be made to renter.
Article 13 - Charges
On departure, the renter shall have to pay to owner all expenses not included in rental price. The amount is set out on the calculation basis stated in the agreement and in the description, an invoice is given by owner. It has to do with electricity consumption, and possible requested options, such as cleaning of household linen for example.
Article 14 - Litigation
In case of litigation, the court situated on the judicial district of the rented house shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute which may arise.

Kitchen : gas hob with 4 rings, cooker hood, multiple-function micro-wave oven, fridge/deep-freeze, dish-washer, washing-machine, one table and two chairs. Dining-room : television, one couch, one table and 4 chairs in the dining-room. Living-room : one couch in living-room. One bedroom with a 140-cm double bed and one bedroom with two 90 cm single beds. Cupboards (in kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms). Bathroom : wash basin and shower. Separate toilet. Hot water (200-liter waterboiler). Electrical heating. House on a 850 m2-land, with a 30 m2-shelter, and an approximately 20 m2- terrace with garden furniture. Beds are equipped with quilts and pillows. Sheets, quilt- and pillow cases are not provided (only optional).
